Q: anyone seen a turbo kit for a vq35hr 2007-08 nissan 350z?
i am trying to find a full turbo kit for a 2007 2008 nissan 350z vq35hr engine. please if you have any direct links please send them or anything that would get me in the right direction thanx

A: APS is planning on having a kit out this winter and have already revealed and built and tested their prototype. Greddy is supposedly working on theirs, but haven't shown and pictures or specs as of yet. Vortech has a Supercharger out for the 2007 VQ35HR engine.

Q: Survey -Nissan 350z 2007 vs Mercury Grand Marquis 2005?
Me and my cousin are having a little dispute Hes Dad has a mercury grand marquis 2005 He says he would rather have that car then a Nissan 350z 2007 Please Choose and leave your opinions Thank You.

A: well i hate to say it but that was a stupid question and you should know that the 350z would be better any day any time and any acation because if you want to go fast then you can go fast and if you want a chick well then there is the passenger seat and if you want two well there is always the trunk. any ways i think the 350z is better

A: DUBS HO!

Q: What is the 1/4 mile run time for the 2007 nissan 350z?

A: 13.7 seconds at 104 mph. That's from Car and Driver's "Four of a Kind" Comparison Test in their January, 2007 issue. Keep in mind that Car and Driver are pretty brutal in their testing, using speed shifts (no letting up on the throttle between gears) and optimizing the launch by revving the engine and either slipping the clutch or inducing wheel spin to prevent the engine from 'bogging down' on take-off. If you owned one of these cars, you probably wouldn't do this very often if you intended to keep the car for a few years. They also 'correct' their statistics with a fudge factor that is supposed to take into account variations in temperature, humidity, altitude and barometric pressure. It remains to be seen whether that translates into accurate comparisons from site to site and from day to day.

Q: Is it possible to put a RB26 Engine in a 2007 Nissan 350z to gain about more then thousand HP?

A: Yes. That is not hard to do. You can get big twin turbo kits that usually cost $10,000 and give you 1000HP. I have seen it done many times. I have even seen it done in 4 cylinder Honda Civic's.

Q: What new features will the 2007 Nissan 350Z have?
Will there be better performance? Heard the 07 models will be based from the GT-R platform.

A: i'm not sure.... i think its the same

Q: I have a 2007 nissan 350z but I'm looking for more room, thinking of buying a nissan titan, bad idea or not?
just cant seem to fit anything in my 350z, I know the titan is a huge upgrade as far as cargo is concerned, but I really don't want a ford, any suggestions/opinions are appreciated

A: the titan is a bad idea- the body style has been around for a while, and is in need of a change. Trucks in general are a bad idea with gas prices at the way they are. on the bright side, you can probably find a deal on trucks because of the decline in sales on them. If you want more headroom, try looking into a Nissan Altima, or a Maxima. Both are great cars with much more cargo room than the 350z, and they are also fun to drive and sporty. If you want to try a different brand, try looking at the new 2 door honda accord- it's a great alternitive to the 350z.

Q: What are the biggest rims that will fit on a 2007 Nissan 350Z?
Also tire sizes to go with the bigger rims if possible. This is my friends car and she has 18s in the front and 19s in the rear and it came like that....she wants an after market set that looks good but she doesn't want to split another set of wheels up because it would be more expensive. She was thinking 20s. All imput is welcomed!

A: 20's would look great! Although, don't expect the performance to be as good as your factory wheels.

Q: Is it possible to install cruise control on my 2007 Nissan 350z?
I asked the dealership and they said that they don't sell cruise control seperatly. So I'd have to get an aftermarket one. I checked jcwhitney.com but I don't know how reliable their parts are.

A: i think u can go to nissan and ask them to install it for you. but it will cost alot. u shoul've bought the car with an included cruise control.

Q: How many seats does the 2007 Nissan 350Z have?
I'm planning on buying a 350Z but I can't figure how many seats it has. Can anyone help me? Thanks Everyone!

A: Should be two, if you want to buy it I suggest taking a trip to a dealer.

Q: What would win in a race, a 2007 nissan 350z or a 2003 mercedes c23 amg?
I've got a 350z and a friend of mine has a c23 amg, and i was wondering which one would win in a race because he lives pretty far away and we cant actually race. My car is a 2007 model, but i'm not completely sure if his is a 2003, it might be an '02

A: I assume you mean a W203 based C32 with the 349 hp 3.2L V6. The answer is the better driver would win. I've seen guys in bone stock SRT-4 Neons put out shorter laps than un-skilled drivers in vipers with more than twice the power. If you're looking for a 0-60 race excluding driver skill (which still matters in both cars even in a strait line) and assuming you have a base model stock 2007 350Z you would probably be close but he would win. Brand new his car should have been capable of a 5.2 second official 0-60 time (although Car and Driver did 4.6 seconds!) where as yours does it in about 5.8s. However his car is now 5 or 6 years old and has probably lost some power and is now doing it closer to the specified 5.2 second time. If you were to go around a track I'd expect him to win also as the AMG has better brakes, more grunt and a more advanced suspension system. However his car is for old men and decidedly less cool.

Q: 2007 Nissan 350Z does the nav screen show or control any other part of the car besides nav?
For example, my audi has an integrated brain were you can change all the setting to the car including audio, ipod control and the navigation system. Does the nav system in the nissan 350 similar to this or is it just for view and manipulating the gps and nav. Many thanks.

A: MR Bulkin your cars owners manual is calling you! And there is a seperate Navagation Booklet. Please spend a few hours reading those booklets. Display Options Settings there is a lot of things drivers information and format things you can change and how the information is displayed.

Q: Were to get twin turbos for 2007 Nissan 350z?
Hi, i live in New Zealand and i am modifying my 2007 Nissan 350z Track, But im trying to find Greedy Twin Turbo Kits for VQ35HR were can i found those. Thanks.

A: I'd suggest you go with Greddy, like you chose so good choice... But i highly suggest you get this done by professionals. I've seen countless people destroy their engines by doing the trubo kits by themselves. Pay the extra grand and let the pros. do it, unless you have a background in engineering and have years of experience working on racing engines. Your total should be close to $11 grand with installation. Don't forget the break in period for TT kits is about 500 miles.

Q: What modifications can I make to a 2007 Nissan 350Z that won't affect my warranty?
I am working overseas in Iraq and while I was home last month, I purchased a 2007 Nissan 350Z with very low miles. When I come home for good, I'd like to upgrade the intake, exhaust and a few other things, plug install an oil cooler--but I'm afraid of voiding my warranty. Any ideas as to the extend of what I can do??

A: Intake exhaust and oil cooler won't affect your warranty. If you find a mechanic who is cool with other modifications that he can look past. even more modifications are possable. If you had me install your Nismo exhaust headers high flow random technologys cat converters. Light weight flywheel and heavy duty pressure plate I would know your into performance track driving just what that car really likes. Another thing you can do is maintain your car properly keep it clean and bolt back on your stock wheels with good tires when returning to the shop. Something about Hoosier racing tires on 3 piece wheels covered in brake dust makes the service manager worried. 350Z is about as dependable as sports cars get.

Q: How much should i pay for 2007 Nissan 350z?
Last month we leased a BMW 530i for my wife at $600 per month for 36 months with $1500 down. The car is $51000 MSRP. Currently I am looking to lease a Nissan 350Z the base model whos MSRP is $28,500. Every nissan dealer i called i got a quote which was between $575 to $600 per montrh lease with $1500 down and 36 months. Now I am confused, my wife's caar is almost twice the price and i am leasing for $600, how can a $29000 car be the same price. guys i need honest answers and i need to know how much will be a decent price to pay for a base model 2007 nissan 350z on a $1500 down and 36 month lease. please let me know. thanks. first time am using this site, i just wanted to reply to the guy who said buy something better like ford mustang. i just dont like ford, specially junk mustangs, and also 350z is faster than v8 mustang gt's.

A: go to edmunds.com/nada.com..and get information on the true market value.. then go haggle with the dealers also your credit may not be as good now..as it was when u leased the BMW. finance companys may think you may not beable to pay two car payments like that
