Q: i have the oppurtunity to buy a 2008 nissan nismo 350z brand new from a dealership for $10,000 less that msrp?
my intentions are not to keep and drive the car but to sell it once i recieve it the cars final price after tax and title etc would come to around 43-45,000 dollars if i were to buy it without my discount. i am going to pay 33-35,000 for the vehicle using my discount and want to sell it for 40,000 a price that no new car dealer can beat i plan on paying for the car with cash so i will own the car (not making any monthly payments on the car) what would be the best way to sell this car i know anyone who would wants to buy a brand new 2008 nismo 350 z will not be able to find that car for that cheap anywhere else my only question is how could i go about selling the car could i go to another car dealeship and act like i wanna get rid of the car and tell them i cant afford it and trade it in on another cheaper car say a $30,000 car and would the dealership since the car is worth $40,000 give pay me the difference of the cars back or does anybody have a better idea of how i could make money
A: It appears you don't understand how buying and selling of cars works. You will not be able to make any money from what you propose. The moment you buy it and drive it off the lot it becomes a used car. The value they would give you as a trade in sinks quickly. It is also a car that does not get good mileage so the demand is substantially less. The lack of demand is why they have discounted the price. The same thing is happening with trucks and SUV's. Dealers are almost paying people to buy them.
Q: does any body knows if the Nissan 350Z rims fits in a 2008 Nissan altima coupe?
A: They'd about have to. It's almost identical.
Q: Should I get a Ford F-250 or a nice Nissan 350z 2008?
A: My "Z car" was the best vehicle I've ever owned.
Wonderful for long interstate trips or local driving
on winding back roads. The ladies I have known
prefer the sports car, but I'm sure some others like
trucks.
No contest there for me, but I have no use for a truck bed.
The Z is not a good snow car if you live in mountains or
the north where winter snows are frequent.
Q: 2008 Nissan 350z. White or black for a guy?
A: Black definately
Q: 2008 Nissan 350Z convertible top leaks water!!!
Has anybody had any problems with their brand new 350Z's leaking water when it goes thru a car wash or even rain? I took it to the dealership which could not re-create the problem? They actually told me it was normal to leak a little bit! Does this make sense to anyone?
A: DO NOT i mean Do Not "car wash" your convertable caustic cleaners and what the car wash uses for soap can damage your top. Just gently rinse the water and mequires carwash soap off with out even a spray nozzel. Convertable tops just keep normal rail out and somewhat dry at speed. I use silicone spray lubricant on all the rubber parts and they seal ok here in Texas. water test from your garden hose a stream that curves away from the hose 30" that strength water flow is what nissan wants technicians to use checking for leaks. Operate your roof once a week to keep the motors and bows functioning properly. And if in north texas i can get it to seal so rain does not get in.
Q: 2005 bmw 330ci or 2008 nissan 350z? what should i get?
the bmw has 27,000 miles on and the price is $30,900 and the nissan 350z has 5 miles to it and the price is $29,000...
A: Don't even go near the Nissan, it got nothing on the 330. You will defiantly enjoy driving the 330 more than the Z. they don't call it the Ultimate driving machine for nothing... also it's a straight 6. Plus see how the 330 is holding it's market value even after 3 years, and the Nissan is brand new and it's worth less than the Beemer.
You picked the best year by the way , the new look is horrible .
Q: 2008 Mazda RX-8 vs 2008 Nissan 350Z Roadster which one to get ?
Im planning to get either one, I saw a video comparison on top gear the other day, but Im still undecided, I would like opinions from people that own either of the cars what are your thoughts?
Mazda: http://motorguru.com/video.html?v=22
Nissan: http://motorguru.com/video.html?v=54
A: The Mazda has better performance because it is lighter, and it has 4 seats unlike the Nissan, and it has a 9,000 RPM redline.
The 350Z has better looks, but the coupe is literally a Hummer, and since the roadster is heavier, that would be even worse.
What makes the 350Z so heavy?
Q: 2005 bmw 330ci or brand new 2008 nissan 350z?
the bmw has 27,000 miles on and the price is $30,900 and the nissan 350z has 5 miles to it and the price is $29,000...
help me what to get....
A: Depends on where and how you drive. The BMW will ride on rails on dry pavement and will corner handle better. The Nissan will not drive at all on snow or ice, the BMW will. The Nissan is faster 0-60, the BMW is faster 60-120+. The 350 insurance is outrageous!!! The BMW is realativly cheap to insure. The BMW is cheaper to maintain right now and will hold its' value a lot longer. It will be fun to drive for a long time and actually has a suspension where the 350 is like riding on a wooden box in the back of a pickup! No question the BMW is a superior car!
Q: 2008 Nissan 350z Nismo ?
Does the 2008 350z Nismo come with a stock turbo or do you have to put it in?
A: No. You have tp put one in.
The Nismo 350z has the same engine and power as the normal 350z.
It just has a bodykit, a wing, different wheels, brembo brakes, and abetter suspension.
Turbo kits for the Nissan 350z cost around $6,000-10,000 and add 100-250HP.
You can get ones that add 1000HP, but then you will need $20,000 for the turbo kit.

Q: How much do the stock rims on a 2008 nissan 350z coupe cost?
I bought the 08 months ago and got 18'' all black rims about a month ago. I have the stock rims stored in the garage. How much do the stock rims cost, just the rims, no tires. Just asking because i'm thinking of selling them.
A: You won't get full price for them. I have a set of 18" anniversary editions on my 300zx that I got off craigslist for 400. Just to give you an idea
Q: I have a 2008 Nissan 350Z, I want to sell the factory rims.?
How much do the factory rims cost? The 350Z is a coupe and I want to sell the stock rims. My car has only 18 miles and the rims are brand spankin new, how much do they cost?
A: General Vic. You should of thought about that when you purchased the car and financed the new wheels and tires when you purchased it. Purchased seperately the 18" wheels sell for $640 each at Nissan dealer. Brand new tires and wheels on E-Bay and Crag's list go for around $1,000 a set of four. Mostly the guy's like your self who want better looking rims. I reccomend keeping the stock wheels/tires.
A word of caution buy good rims forged rims. And buy the best tires you can afford. Also note the front and rear wheels are not the same rear off set is different than the front. That is why there are two different size tires. Brand new track Z have 19" rear and 18" front. Many of my customers are running RUFF rims 20" rear and 19" front 245/30/19 ft. and 285/30/20 rear tires. Italian rims and Greman rims are made to a higher standard. American Racing wheels Weld Cragar all made by the same people are not strong enough.
