Q: Is there any kind of maintenance I need to be getting for my 2008 Nissan Altima?
I've had my car for 6 months now and was just wondering if there's anything I need to get done to it besides getting the oil changed and tires rotated. It has about 10,000 miles on it.

A: I change the air filter about every 12k and the tranny fluid every 25k, use chevron mid grade or better every 3rd or 4th tank or put fuel injector cleaner in every 3-4th tank full of gas. that is about it. have brakes checked when you have tires rotated. they last 15k-45k depending on driving condition

A: There aren't any out yet. And there won't be any for the Altima Coupe for 1-2 years. Don't bother buying any mods for the pre-07 models because they won't fit. I'm still waiting on mods for the post-2006 Nissan 350Z's.

Q: Would like to make small changes to my 2008 Nissan Altima Coupe. What are some good sites for options?
Thinking of making minor, tasteful changes. However, since this is the first year there's been an Altima Coupe I suppose they just don't offer much through Nissan. 1) The grill 2) The tires and wheels (if I change the factory tires and wheels, will this affect the tire pressure monitoring system?) 3) Rear spoiler

A: Tirerack dot com you can see tire and wheel combo's on a coupe with your color. Lowering springs by H&R tire rack again. go with the 19" x 9" wheels and 245/30/19 tires Just move the TPMS valve stems to the new rims and have them reintroduced at Nissan. Billet grill would look very nice (haven't seen any yet). Rear spoiler are available try Wings West. And Nissan rear spoiler has new struts to hold up the extra weight. Q: Which is better?New 2008 Nissan Altima 3.5SE or Certified 2007 BMW328i?
I may be comparing apples to oranges. But the 2008 Nissan Altima 3.5SE Coupe seems good enough to be compared to a certified 2008 BMW328i Coupe in terms of features and price. Which is a good choice?

A: I could never even afford to look at a BMW......but have owned a Nissan Sentra and Nissan Almera. So,,,,,I am very partial to Nissans no matter which model they are. I think car choice is a personal decision and whatever is comfortable, affordable and safe for you to drive is the wisest choice.

Q: What size rims can fit on a 2008 Nissan Altima?
I was just trying to figure out what's the biggest set of rims I can get on a 2008 Nissan Altima Sedan w/o changing the tires or getting a lift. Thanks in advance!

A: Yes 20'' rims can fit on the 02-08 Altimas, actually you can get 22'' on them as well. You just have to make sure you have a low profile tire like a 35 series, a great tire size for 20'' without having to worry about any kind of rubbing what so ever is a 235/35/20. With 22'' just get spring boosters for your back and the perfect tire for that is 235/30/22, i actually have a 255/30/22 tire made by nexen and they ride smooth.
