A: Frontiers use PFI(port fuel injection). Throttle body injection is outdated and very inefficient.

when you change companion flange and differ seal on nissan frontier , do you have to replace the nut with new one and do you have to replace crush sleeve as well

A: Good for what? Environmentaly 15 miles a gallon!. Or just to haul everyones dorm furnature around? 2005 Nismo has a 256 hp 4.0 liter V-6 and it can be costly to fill up. Toyota FJ is a funny trucklet with limited visability rear and it will drink up fuel too. Compare Frontier with the Toyota truck and Xteria with the FJ. I would not reccomend a truck for College. What happened to the first year in College living on campus and riding a Bicycle? Distractions aside runnning to the Keg store in a pick up truck comes to mind.

The used NISMO Frontiers I have been looking at have a NISMO sticker on them, but I know you can buy these stickers on Ebay. Also should the NISMO truck come with a NISMO branded guide book?
A: Write down the vin number and take it to a nissan dealer. That's the only way to know for certain. Any of the upgrades found on the nismo versions can easily be added either through aftermarket parts or swapping at a salvage yard.

A: Turn off the ignition with key inserted. expose CPU by removing protective plastic covers. There will be a round sticker on one side of the ECU. Remove the sticker and you will see a flat head screwdriver slot. Turn it 1/4 turn clockwise. Now turn the key, dont start the car, just light up the check engine lite on the dash. Now go on the internet and find the codes for your frontier, the check engine lite will now be blinkinge a code that will tell you what the problem is.

A: You are 18 it will be just fine. It wont hurt you to drive a used vehicle with probably about 60k miles on it. Just make sure you get it checked out before you buy it.

it sounds more like pulleys and not a slipping belt.
A: deffinetly the belt... you just need to get it tightned, or you can drop some wax from a lit candle, but that will only take it away for like a week... so you need to tight the belt most likely by the alternator.

I havn't seen any on the net and it doesn't talk about it in the owner's manual.
A: They don't use a transmission filter as such but, a screen to catch larger particles.
Most import dealers just rinse out the screen and reuse it.

My question is which one of the four o2 sensors (2front/2rear) would I need to replace. I don't want to bring it to a Nissan dealer to test but not sure if anyone would know which one you would normally have to replace. Thanks.
A: You probably wouldn't need to replace any of the O2 sensors just because you replaced the cats (why did you replace the cats anyway).Autozone in my area will scan your computor for free to see if there are any diagnostic trouble codes pending.NOTE-Autozone sells parts,mechanics repair cars!

I want to install a push start into the truck, and I want to use the chip in the OEM remote as a anti-theft device. Will this work?
A: All keys have imobilizer chips in them A good alarm place can set you up with remote start as for push button start it will be your new custon remote. Remote will have buttons for express windows down and door unlock alarm set and lock and new remote start feature. That will require a special code generator that makes the truck think the key is close to the inside key slot. The steering coloum still has to be unlocked with the key. So I see you spending lots of money just for a remote starting device. What wrong with keeping it stock?
