Q: What is wrong with my 2004 Nissan Maxima?
For the last month or so, anytime I am sitting idle in my car the temperature guage goes up. I noticed this while sitting in the bank line - it was almost to H. However, when I start driving from being idle it immediatley goes back down to normal range. I'm not sure what the problem could be! Any ideas/suggestions?

A: Could be a lot of things. From the way your describing it to be it sounds like a lack of coolant or bad thermostat. But it could be: Thermostat, collant temp sensor (ecm and engine), coolant temp switch (for fan), coolant itself (lack of or bad coolant), radiator blockage, water pump (bad or fins broke off). You need to check these systems out.

Q: Driver side power window on 2004 nissan maxima stop working, any reason why?
All the other windows and sunroof still work.

A: it may be a few things.. the moter for the window went out..... a wire is broken ...... or just that switch is bad,,,,,,, take off door panel and just move other window switch wire to that one and test if window goes down and also put that switch on other (passenger side) window to test the switch.... if the driver window rolls down and passenger doesnot you know it is a bad switch......and if window dont (driver Side) go down a bad motor!!!!!!!!!!! get make and model ... call junkyard ... go pick up part fix.... DONE!!!! also check wires for wear and tear.... if any freayed or broken,,,, fix and tape with electric tape ...

im being asked 9,945 for a 2004 nissan maxima sl with 117,000 is that too much or is that resonable and how many miles more can i put on it

A: I would look at the fluids in the engine ,trans,ps,if any of these have a burnt smell I would not .this engine if taken care of will last a long time .I have maxima with over 200k and it still runs great.if you buy this vehicle buy an warranty package with it or extended service contract.

The Maxima is so smooth in acceleration VROOOM!!! fastest I could go with that car was about 140 mph before I blew my tires, rolled 5x, and crushed it like a pop can. BUT STILL!!! Get mon or dad co co sign you will get a better rate than with your No credit having boyfriend. You can get between a 7.25-9% with a strong co signer.

A: well its working if you can atleast hear the bass if you cant your best option is to replace it with a new sub and adda amp.

A: Not visible or easily usable from the driver's seat.... but easily accessible from the front passenger's seat. If you were a front seat passenger, there is a rectangular door to the left of your leg. it's in there. Should open up without tools. Just a tab you need to release with your finger.
