Q: i hate my nissan murano help?
i asked a question about my seat earier now the bitch is hard to handle at 50 and up, and it feels like its going to stall (checked it mine isnt in the recall), and sometimes it feels like the e brake is on, its a 2005 nissan murano s awd

A: If your vehicle is still under warranty, return it to the dealer - or to a different dealer if this one hasn't successfully found the problem.

Stalling can be caused by many things, including fuel pump cavitation (leaky fuel intake line), plugged fuel pump, bad or dirty injectors, bad O2 sensor(s), even a seriously plugged air filter. The problem should become obvious to the dealer onnce they check the OBDII with a scan-tool. A simple fuel pressure check and injector cleaning may help. Also make sure you take the service manager on a ride with you so they will acknowledge that there really is a problem.
Also (although it shouldn't happen on a 2005) some of the symptoms you've described can be caused by a plugged catalytic converter. If the vehicle was filled with some diesel at one time instead of gas, this could cause serious damage to your cat. They can check that as well with a temperature gauge on both the pre and post cats.
When the dealer does have your car, make sure they give you a free loaner. That will help make things less frustrating and will provide incentive to the dealer to expedite the work.
Either way, if they don't get it fixed, don't hesitate to contact CARB (if you're in California) or your local Bureau of Automotive Repair as even if the car warranty is expired, your emissions warranty will probably still be good and they will need to fix it for free. If it takes too long to fix, you may qualify for lemon law relief. Check with your state for details and don't give up...

AWD drives much differently than a FWD or RWD vehicle. I learned to drive when FWD was rare. When I finally drove a FWD car, I thought something was wrong with it from day one.
Turns out, it wasn't what I was accustomed to.
My suggestion to you is to find another 2005 Murano AWD at a dealership and test drive it. If it drives the same, it's all in your head...get used to it. If it isn't, have the tech who worked on your car, drive the one you test drove and ask him to make the two drive alike.

A: Go to a hardware store and get a connector that will fit into the speaker. Connect that to the wire and you're set. no worries, no need to go to a salvage yard, no need to order anything.
Or if you have a soldering iron and are handy, just solder the wire on.

A: It may be, but I would recommend checking the history. That might sound silly considering it is a 2005, but here's something for you. What if the vehicle has some hidden damage? For example, what if it was floating in a car dealership lot somewhere in New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina hit and the whole thing was waterlogged? You may want to get a hold of the vin (vehicle identification number) and run a search regarding the vehicle's previous whereabouts. I don't mean to be negative, I just hate seeing people get ripped off. It drives me up a brick wall.

On my way home tonight, raining like crazy, my AWD and ABS lights came on, the car has about 35000 miles on it and the brakes are good, no squeaking or any change in performance. Any idea on why the lights came on?
A: The awd light came on because of the traction control, which in turn set your abs light on. Before you go spend any money on diagnostics, I would wait til it's dry out and I bet the lights will go out. I just went through this on my sons truck. Another thing just fyi, if you ever add trans fluid to that or do a drain and fill or flush, it takes special tranny fluid that you can only get from a dealer. It costs 19.99 per quart, however it's not suggested to be changed until the light comes on at 80k, just thought I'd try to save you a trans headache down the road.

Hi, My 2005 Nissan Murano's radio is not working. The radio powers on but no sound comes out. It doesn't matter whether its the CD or Radio or Tape or the DVD. I am not sure what it is but if someone could help it would be greatly appreciated.
Just wanted to add its the Bose radio with a 6 CD in dash changer and the DVD is in the center console.
A: Whenever you have an electrical problem, you ought to check the manual and find the fuse for it and see if it's blown or not. If it's not a fuse, it's probably going to cost real money to fix.
