Q: 2009 Nissan Murano headlight bulbs question?
I want to upgrade my bulbs, I have a Halogen standard bulbs on my SL Murano, I can't find the bulbs that can fit my model, except the standard ones.I don't want to put HID kit, just want to change and put brighter bulbs, any ideas.. Thank you I tried but there is no way they can fit, only the shape of ones I got they can go in, I don't think they make those yet, I found standard ones same as mine..

A: Brighter bulbs could damage the inside of the head lamp. More heat could melt the shutter that changes the focal point for high and low beam. There may be some HID conversions available at some time. Your Murano wattanty covers bulbs for 3 years and 30,000 miles so for now just wait.

A: Unless you have TAX advantages never lease. Put a modest down payment and finance over 6 years your payment will be about the same and you know what you have equity and own it after 72 months. Lease you drive 2 or 3 years and have to give back the old friend Murano at the end. Then the trouble happens excessive wear and trear excessive milage charges. Late fees they will try to stick on you.

2009 Nissan Murano quick question? I want to change a light plate bulb on my Murano, but I don't know how. I read Owners Manual but it does not show how to take the cover out. I did saw a screw but there is no way I can reach it, there must be another way. If anyone knows to tell me step by step I will appreciate. Thank you. A: The stock bulbs that come with the car new should be Xenons from the start. Can't get better than that.

A: Myself, although I'm not big on SUV's, find the Lincoln's grille horrendous but the back end treatment looks rather sharp ( I especially like the full LED tail lamp treatment ). The Murano...I liked the shape when the original was introduced a few years ago but the new one, I don't know yet, It doesn't really elicit any emotion from me at first glance

HI There, I just bought a brand new Nissan 2009 Murano. Ther very first week I felt that one of the tires was not balanced, so I took it back to the dealership, and they tried to balance it, but I was told that the tire was belted or something, so theyreplaced just one rear tire. After that, I felt the body shakes in all speeds, so I took it back again and they said they have balanced all four tires again (said none of them were balenced in tha factory!) Since then I don't feel much of shake, but when I drive very slow, with low kilometer around 20Km or so, I feel the car joggles left and right, and it disapears around 60Km, and afterward there is just a minor shake. I really appreciate any help or suggestion. Thanks

2009 Nissan Murano question? Few days ago I got new car 2009 Nissan Murano and I'm not sure what gas to use.. I asked dealer he said use 87-regular, but when I read Owner Manual it says use premium, but if is not available you may use unleaded regular gasoline 87. So what you think.. Which one should I use and which one is better for my engine. Best answer will get 10 points.. Thank you.

A: Premium only has to get 2 or three miles a gallon more with a 21 gallon gas tank to make the cost of premium fuel be the same as regular grade. Also premium fuel will detonate ping and spark knock less thus premiun also makes the motor last longer.

A: It's true. We don't have right hand drive in the usa. You can buy a nissan products with right hand in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonessia,and singapore, but It won't be called the "Murano".

I've negotiated with Dealers and have done my research on new car buying. Most sites state that any price under MSRP is good, and under invoice is great, but how low can I really go under invoice with theses dealerships? I understand there are many factors that play in this, (timeframe, hot sellers...etc). What do think?

A: Probably a fair price. You're right a lot of it depends on how many they have on the lot and how well they are selling. I've been offered prices quite a bit further under invoice (usually on vehicles no one wants) As usual there's a lot more wiggle room on a used car. I've gotten some ridiculously good deals over the years for friends, just dont approach it like you want to make friends with the salesman. People that are willing to waste hours of a guys time over a few hundred bucks and have an indifferent attitude and a little bit of education on what the dealers are willing to get rid of their cars for always get the best deals.

A: I think that the Murano is being replaced by the Rogue in 2008, so I don't think that there will be one. I can't see Nissan producing two crossover suv's, they would be competing against themselves.

I am buying the SL version of the vehicle and you can only get the 18" rims with it (here in Canada). To order them from the Nissan dealership would be very costly.

A: The FX45 has a V8. The Murano has a V6. Its not going to sound the same and the entire exhaust system will most likely not fit both engines. You could make just the muffler fit easily enough.

Q: Premium or Regular fuel on 2009 Nissan Murano?
Does anyone know exactly what the fuel requirements are for the 2009 Nissan Murano? I've seen conflicting reports between regular and premium and wanted to find out what the definitive answer will be for the vehicle. Thanks for the help.

A: Premium. The Murano and Maxima have used the 3.5 v6 for many years. It was designed for premium and needs premium. Its a great engine and has won awards for many years straight. I have no doubt that Nissan will not alter this. Bank on premium.
