Q: Does anyone know how to fold down back seats in a 1995 NISSAN PATHFINDER ?
Please help I need the room.
i know to pull the seat part foward but i can't seem to open them i had them open once and now i can't figure out how to reopen them
A: Now hopefully I'm thinking right cause I've sold my pathfinder about two years ago but I'm pretty sure that there Is little knobs that you have to pull up on both sides of the backseat. They were located on the top of the seat close to the top corner of the chair backs. A few inches away from the head rests.
Q: Where can I find a door jamb switch harness for 1995 Nissan Pathfinder and what would it cost?
A: you'd find most of those parts on Nissan parts authorized dealers
Q: 1995 nissan pathfinder lift question?
i want to lift the front of a 1995 pathfinder. how can i do this cheap with part i can find at the junk yard. i was thinking of geting some springs off a truck of suv an putting them on, will this work?
A: get suspension on a really high truck that will work
Q: if i were to remove the facory amplifier in my 1995 nissan pathfinder how would this affect the audio quality?
im putting in a new head unit and 4 new 5x7 speakers.
ive heard i either have to bypass the factory amp, or remove it completely.
if i were to remove it would i need to replace it? or could i just let it go
also, if bypassing it is the best idea how do i do that?
A: Bypassing and removing the amp would do exactly the same thing. If you bypass it and don't remove it then it will just be extra weight in your car. You would not need to replace it because the head unit will power the speakers, and to bypass/remove all you need to do is get a wiring kit and re-wire the head unit not an amp to your speakers.
Q: What is the radio wiring color codes for a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder?
A: enjoy: http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/stereodetail/1639.html
Q: How and where do you change the spark plugs on a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder?
A: your plugs are buried in the cylinder head. the plug wire is about 8" in length and you'll need to remove the rubber caps, there'll be 3 of them. from the distributor cap, follow the wires to the head, twist & pull the cap and you'll see the long lead come out. you'll need an extender to get the plug socket down. it's a snug fit, make sure you take your time installing, you can strip the aluminum threads. Use anti-seize compound on the plug threads.
Q: Can the headlight switch on 1995 Nissan Pathfinder be accessed from the panal under the steering wheel?
A: Yes just seperate the steering coloum cover 4 or 5 #2 philips screws and you can remove two more gold colored screws and take out then unplug the head light switch. Easy ten minutes. Does only one low beam come on? even though you replaced the bulb?
Q: How do you change the fuel pump on a 1995 nissan pathfinder?
A: the fuel pump is in the gas tank and you have to drop it to get to it on most fuel injected cars and trucks' then you turn the round thing with a screw drive carefully so their is no spark and take it out
Q: how do I repair the connection between the radio and antenna of my 1995 nissan pathfinder?
I I can receive scratchy sounds, but I do not get anything but a scratchy noise with a music backround
Any ideas of the cause or repair?
A: Does your Pathfinder have a funny antenna connector? About 1/2" in diameter with two pins protruding? If so, then you have one of the "FM Diversity" vehicles which means the original radio uses two antennas and electronically switches to the antenna with the best signal.
Since an after-market radio doesn't have diversity tuning, it will use only one of the antennas, which will be determined by the adapter you'd have to use to connect it to the standard Motorola-type antenna connector. If reception was fine with the stock radio and bad with the after-market one, it could either be a bad adapter or one of the vehicle's antennas could be bad. The stock radio would not show this symptom because the FM Diversity aspect would keep the tuner switched to the good antenna at all times.
Q: How do i replace the trunk strut on a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder?
I was able to remove the strut from the door but the ball nut won't come out of the strut and there is no pin or anything to remove so it comes out.
A: there is a little metal c clip that holds it into place, remove this with a pocket scre driver and just pull off, should only take you about 30sec. wish a had pic to so you good luck!
Q: how do i bypass the factory amp in my 1995 nissan pathfinder?
im trying to install all new 5x7 speakers.
ive heard many times that if im putting in aftermarket speakers i will need to bypass the factory amp or else ill have poor sound quality.
how do i do this? do i even need to?
A: Get a wiring kit and wire your new head unit to the new speakers. The old amp will have nothing to do with it so you might as well take it out.
Q: who has a copy of a 1995 nissan pathfinder manual that i can download from online?
need a copy of owners manual for nissan patherfinder 1995?
A: personally I wouldn't waste my time with a nissan manual. go to the library and pick up a haynes repair manual it will show you every thing you need and than some!
Q: My 1995 Nissan Pathfinder cigarette lighter has gone out?
I checked the fuse and it is not blown. My next guess is the wiring but I do not the wiring layout. Could this be a easy fix.
A: I ALWAYS went and bought the full-manual from the dealer for ALL of my cars... the wiring diagram helps.
YES, it could be a simple fix !! My next recommendation is to pull a lighter out of another car and test IT in your car. If it works, it's the lighter itself... if not, it's the wiring.
GOOD LUCK.
Q: 1995 Nissan Pathfinder, I need some advice?
I just bought my 1995 Nissan Pathfinder 130,000 miles 4x4 and it ran just fine during the test drive and the first few weeks after purchase. Since then I have used it for two long road trips (240 miles). During the week it sits in the school parking lot. Now it has a developed a slight hick-up when driving down the street at speed and has stalled a few times when leaving a stop light.
Freeway Driving --These hick-ups are felt sometimes at speeds of 65 or 70 MPH. Just very short burst where the truck loses power, maybe 2 or 3 tiny jumps in a half second, then nothing for several hours.
I changed the fuel filter. This didn't help anything. Now what?
I've heard to change or clean the following:
Plugs and Wires
Distributor cap replaced or cleaned?
PCV value
Clean something in the throttle body?
Other???
The hick-up seems to have worsen, but this maybe because my trips around here are short 2 mile grocery store trip.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
A: start with a tune-up.. plugs, plug wires, cap and rotor..
Q: need help with replacing cv boots on a 1995 nissan pathfinder?
I am a technician with 25 yrs experience. Although the bulk of it has been with gm vehicles, I still do a lot of import work. The problem I have is that i am replacing outer cv boots on a 1995 Nissan Pathfinder. I have the axle separated from the steering knuckle and cut the old boot away. The problem is that i dont know how to release the outer joint from the axle. I dont see any snap ring in the joint. Could someone knowlegeable about the product tell me how the joint separates.
A: I always just replace the shafts. I do have a auto repair group called http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/Do_It_Yourself_Help/
there are lots of experienced tech there. I do have All Data and I can look up the parts break down and send it to you. Just join and reask the question. If you are a gm tech we could really use you. I hope you join.
