Q: Nissan Pathfinder 2003 American model, Radiator water circulation system.?
I needed to remove the radiator in order to fix the Air conditioning system. Upon coupling the AC and the radiator back, the water in the radiator is no longer circulating, thereby causing overheating of the engine. What do i need to do to make the radiator water circulate? I have removed the top hose that enters into the radiator but the water is not come from the engine as it should be. Please give me more details of where and waht to check Marvin_g, please if its any of your suggestions, what precisely do i get to do The water does not seem to be going inside the engine as tried to blow the hose from the lower part of the radiator but the air is not going through. A: It sounds like the thermostat is stuck. It can be found under a neck like thing just under where the top, large radiator hose attaches to the top of the engine.

Does anyone out there know the location of the ABS Control Unit on 2003 Nissan Pathfinder? Any tips on the replacement job? Does the amber alert light turn off after the unit has been replaced? Thanks, Thank you Korgue. I just spent $350 at the local Nissan dealer to find out what the problem is. So yes, it has been professionally diagnosed. Is the bleeding procedure any different from bleeding your brk system? Additionally, after the dealer did their diagnoses the 4WD light is also on. The Sr. mechanic at the dealership tells me they are all related and other alerts may light up on the dash. Does that make any sense at all? The dealer also had the hub taken apart, inspected, re-packed and replaced. It is then the ABS alert light came on? Does that make sense at all?

A: Find the Master cylinder (where you add the brake fluid) and follow the lines coming out of it. They will enter another unit with lines coming out of it. This is the ABS controller. It is usually directly below the Master Cylinder, though it may be beside it. Replacement often requires special bleed procedures, and I would not advise doing if you have never replaced one before. Also, have you had this professionally diagnosed yet. It is rare for the controllers to go bad. More common are wheel speed sensor failures. The light will go out after it passes its internal diagnostics on most vehicles. Some vehicles require resetting with diagnostic tools.
