Q: Best Minivan for 2007?
Researching to find the best price for the best minivan for 07’. So far I have looked at Honda, Dodge & Nissan. It seems like the Nissan Quest is the best for ride & options for the money. I also know Nissan is good for reliability. We need a minivan as our family car, just don’t have the room we need any more with a 2 year old, 2 Large dogs & a Tall hubby (6’-6”) & a 2nd baby soon. I currently have a 00’ Nissan Maxima w/ 119,000mi on it, & it only needed one O2 sensor & a new battery. It has done great for us! Would like the minivan we get to do the same. Any input from people who own 07’ minivans would be great, so I know what you think. I know we would like a DVD & at least a second control for the rear half of the van for Heat/AC, as well as the auto open doors & fold away 2nd & 3rd rows. We plan to have this minivan for at least 10-15 years, so would have to last that long with out a lot of major fixes. Ford minivan is out, since a family member had a lot of problems w/ her 05’!

A: Sienna or Odyssey

Q: Need help, bought a car and paid more than it was listed.....?
Hello Everyone, On Saturday 2/09/2008 I bought a 2007 Nissan Quest in Nissan dealership...Original price we started with was $21000, ended up with $19000+taxes and other fees. Everything would be fine, but later on I checked dealers website, and MY car(vin # the same)was listed $18995+taxes and other fees off course(price expired on 2/09/2008 at midnight), so I ended up with paying for than the cars was worth... Is there anything I could do about it, or I should let it go? Thank you for your help

A: Have a Coke and a smile. You are a great negociator! The web-sites very often are leader ads, low prices to bring in traffic and be switched to un-advertised units. Most dealers will not even talk about any low price than an online price...it generates traffic for them...if they could sell at a lower price, they would have it posted to bring in more traffic. Enjoy your van, don't let a silly thing like this take away from the joy of getting a new vehicle. Good luck

Q: Do you think this will work?
Now keep in mind I'm only 15 years old. I want to get a Nissan Frontier as my first car, however, I do not get my actual license until February. Now my dad has always wanted a truck so he does not need to use his newly bought 2007 Nissan Quest (minivan) to bring home things from Lowes and other places (wood, etc.). So I was figuring, I could get the truck when I turn 16, and until then he can use it for whatever he wants (within limitations) and I can use it to practice on instead of my parents cars. Would this be a compelling argument?

A: money, money, money, money, money The general reason we don't get what we want. If you can personnally afford to do this, go for it. If you're going to try and persuade your dad to buy and insure it for you in the first place, you will have an uphill struggle afore you.

Q: Reliable car yes or no?
Im looking into purchasing a 2007 Nissan Quest, however i was wondering if it is a reliable mini van or not, as well as some previous experiences anyone had iwth Nissan Quests in the last little bit.

A: most jap stuff is reliable!

A: Go back to the dealer with your proof of ownership and vin number.

Q: Prices for a 2007 Nissan Quest SL?
Was wondering who has bought a 2007 Nissan Quest SL or similar.. ~ How much did you pay for it? (With and Without Taxes) ~ What is your Interest rate on your loan? ~ What are your monthly payments? ~ For how many months? ~ Did you trade in another auto on it? ~ Did you put any cash down? ~ Did you get the extended warrantee? I am just trying to get an idea if the quote I got is close to the same as other people who have bought a similar Quest. Or if they are trying to boost the price up on me. I get a discount, since I work for a company who works with Nissan and other auto makes… The 2007 Quest I am looking to get is an SL with splash guards, 3.5 SL Upgrade Package, the DVD Entertainment System, floor mats, cargo cover, and the 7-year 100,000mi full warrantee. Since I plan to keep this mini-van for at least 15 years. The listed price on it is $31,370 not counting the 7-year full warrantee and taxes. With the warrantee, taxes, my husband’s truck as a trade in worth $3,775, and my discount I get with work… They gave us a total at $25,998… And our payments will be around $497 (quoted by there finance dep.) for a 72-month loan, With nothing down in cash… the intrest rate they quoted us was 10.99%, and I know we can find better...

A: My wife and I got a 2007 Quest SL in December, and it was the best thing we did. We spent a little more then what you say you will be spending, but that is because we did not get the discounts you say you get with your work. Our payments are sitting at $583, but we had nothing down, and did not triad in anything. Our interest rate is at 7.5%, for 72 months. We also got a $2,000 rebate from Nissan. Our total on our Quest out the door was $35,694 with out rebates... We did not add a lot of extras. Just the DVD set up and sliding driver’s side door. I think they called it a SL upgrade package. We did not get any extended service or warrantee plans. Hope this helps.

Q: 2007 Nissan Quest - What do you think?
I am thinking about getting a 1007 Nissan Quest for our new family car. Currently I have a 2000 Nissan Maxima, but it dues not have the room we need. My husband is 6'6" tall and our little girl is going to be tall like him, I can just see it. She is taller then 3 year olds and she just hit 2 years old! So we need something with more room for us as well as a 2nd baby that we plan to have in about another year. And need to have the room for our 2 Large dogs as well if we ever have to bring them with us. Any way. I am looking to get some input on the 2007 Nissan Quests.. From people who have driven them for more then a week. I like how they look and from what I can tell from my short little test ride in one, that it seems to have a good ride and handeling. But I would like to get someones input who has had one for at least a week if not more. Is it a good buy etc..... All help would be great! Since we needs something good that will last us for 10+ years.

A: You will get the most for your money with a Quest compared to a Honda or Toyota... And they have one of the top ratings for there reliability, performance and safety. Plus from what I see they are also the best looking out there. Not the typical minivan. And they ride more like a sport car then a typical minivan that normally rides like a truck. (I have been driving one at work for our part deliveries the last 4 months.) I would say go for it...

Q: I just bought a 2007 Nissan Quest SL. What type of extended warranties should I get, if any?
Dealer gave me their quotes, down played internew quotes. I just traded in a 2004 Focus, which after its first 3 year warranty was up, instantly started falling apart (I dumped >$4k into repairs). I don't want to make same mistake twice, although the new vehicle is bigger, japanese made, and 3x the cost...What do you get when getting extended warranties?

A: Get a full coverage extended policy from anyone other than the dealer, some of these policies run between $750.00 to $1500.00, just do you homework.

Q: How much would it cost to replace the front bumper on a 2007 Nissan Quest?

A: List price on the bumper cover ( or fascia ) is $348.49. It pays approx 2.0 hrs to install and approx 4.0 hrs to paint. Plus paint materials which are normally based on paint time. So if the labor rate was 40 per hr and materials 20 per paint hr, It should cost 668.49 plus tax. Keep in mind there are 3 major components to todays bumpers. The fascia, impact absorber and reinforcement beam. Often there are brackets and other fasteners which maybe needed.

Q: How do you check the automatic transmission in a 2007 Nissan Quest?
The manual says to have a dealer check it. How hard could it be? The dipstick has two notches on it and also a hatch-marked area that is separate from the two notches.

A: Easy enough with a warm transmission motor idling in neutral the level is in the cross hatched area.

Q: 2007 Nissan Quest Owner opinions?
We are considering buying a new 2007 Nissan Quest. Would appreciate feedback from owners who have recently purchased a 2007 Quest. Any thoughts on the trim that is the best bang for your buck? Any quality/performance issues? Your comments would be greatly appreciated. We currently own two Nissans and are not happy with the styling on the Odyssey nor the the Sienna's safety ratings. Thanks.

A: you cant really live in your car for 7 days , i tried i got to day three, the bathroom started smellin
