Q: Does anybody want to buy a Nissan Skyline? They are both street legal in the US!?
I have 2 Nissan Skylines for sale. One is a 1990 r32 Gts-turbo. The other is a 1991 r32 GTR twin turbo. Both these cars are right hand drive and have a manual tranny. Let me know people, these things move quickly over here in the states.

Q: I want to know what i need to know about making a Nissan Skyline legal.?
I live in CA, I plan on going up to Canada, BC and buying a 1990-1992 Nissan Skyline GT-R or GTS-T. What do i have to do to LEGALIZE it for the States? as much detail would be awesome.
A: Yourself will have to do your research for where you live as many will say the Skyline is street illegal in the US but infact it differs between states,example some states require the car to be made LHD whilst others dont mind,some states require added safety features on older Skyline models.Some states will not allow the Skyline at all,but all states require the car to meet emission regs.
The easiest it bring in is the R33 96-98 models due to added safety features being stock at this point and these where models tested by Motorex as for the Motorex issue they didnt go to jail for selling bad Skyline although the false testing didnt help.But with the right money and mods other Skyline are creeping in and i see som many R34 Skyline on the net in the US nowdays.
So all those that say the Skyline is illegal it is and it isnt again it depends where you live and what puts people off is the cost of mods to make it meet US regs hence putting young buyers off and older buyers usually go for newer models of cars.

GTS,GTS-T,GT,GTT,GTS-4 models are still great cars and offer great power and are cheaper to buy overall.
I would find out first from your local Transport office to see which mods are needed if allowed on your state,True legends all are well before there time and offer great power and headturning looks.And i suppose you would be able to make any money spent after its been sold.

my sons nissan wont go in gear its an auto and lost reverse my hubby had a look and has found sheared metal in the sump. apparently it lost all trans fluid too. and it just made a spinning sound wen the trans went what could be the problem

A: Great cars great performance plenty to do to the engines plenty of forums advice out there for an older car look great and still get a lot of great feedback.
Dont over pimp it but some nice kits out there and great engine mods but hey these are like rockets anyway so shouldnt need that much doing to them.

i checked the DOT importable cars and it says you can only import the 96-98 model, but i've seen people selling earlier models. i know about the registering, emmisions, etc.
A: You can only register R33s. People sell and import earlier/later models, but only R33s can be 100% street legal

A: I don't think skylines are sold in the states. If you find one its going to be expensive.
