Q: What car should I get as my first?
Okay so I will be turning 16 this year and I can't decide between which car I should get.
-BMW M3 E46 ( 2001-2003 ) and pretty much keep it stock.
-Mitsubishi Eclipse GST ( 1996-1999 ) and upgrade the turbo and do a few minor mods.
-Honda Civic Hatchback ( 1992-1995 ) and swap it with a K20a2 motor and turbo it and also do a few other mods.
-Toyota Supra MKIV Twin-Turbo and do just a few minor mods.
-Mazda RX-7 Twin-Turbo and also do a few mods.
-Nissan Skyline R32 GTR already modded by the seller.
-Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX and do a few mods.
I don't want answers of different cars. Only help me out between these cars please and I only have a budget of $22,000 so keep in mind if the car is cheaper I will spend more money on upgrading it like the civic for example with $20,000 invested it will have over 500bhp easily.
A: Some nice cars on your list and def can't really go wrong with any of them,my own opinion ,you will need to pick the car that suits your needs also.I would go first for the Skyline why because i think there great and i have owned two but mainly because they truly are great cars and the R32 is getting rare to find due to its age etc Driving a Skyline is an instant smile experience and driving an R32 against other Skylines is like being in a drift event at every corner,i took my R32 on across two countries and into a third and it was a great ride.
The Supra is a great car and has great power although someone said the fastest in the list not true, but def in par with others. These are true drivers cars and the dash feels like te driving is inside a cockpit.Myself drove my friends a few times and again loved it ,although the lack of room was no good to me as the backseat was a waste of time and the trunk space again not there.A silly thing but friends etc cannot go out with you ,or at least without crossing there legs on the backseat.
The RX 7 is a great car although underrated and not as popular as it should be mainly due to the hassle of the engines, but again no room. And harder to tune than the Supra and Skyline.but still looks great.
The Evo is a great motor and very fast and has the advantage of being a 4 door with a very tunable engine and good looks and great handling.
Another great car.
The BMW a great car and iam a big bmw fan although in recent years the bmw price dropped and everyone could afford a version, where iam this lost the image of this make and its is now no longer regarded in the class it was used to and classed as common.Such a shame.
For me it would def be the R32 after all those cars changed motor racing rules to stop it taking part ,due to it winning every race and are true legends.
I would def put my money this way.

Q: How much to ship a car from Japan to USA?
I'm trying to buy a Nissan skyline but i'm wondering how much it would cost to ship to AZ its a 1992 skyline worth about 5k
Thanks
A: The cost in the US isnt the cost of the shipping that kills the buyers its the car itself.Depending where you live you will have to make it meet US regs for the state in which you live in,being an R32 it will need such mods like a strong bar adding between the rear seats and fuel tank as well as emissions.
http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/rules/import/faq%20site/pages/page10.html
A job for you to find what mods are needed at what cost and at what price. There are a good few US titled ones on the roam.which cost alot but again times you have paid the extra cost like the price of the car and shipping which would be around $800 then taxes and duties as well as an agent in Japan to check the car really has 4 wheel and an engine,it may be worth weighing up the cost.

sorry to whom posted this link first time.
But for the price i think its a good price for the car it is and you now yourself performance wise it can see some scary bhp figures and handling etc with hicas etc even driving it now is well before its time.
So best thing is to weigh up mods needed to where you live it may have to be made LHD also but thats not all states. Then work out overall cost.
Its upto you and again depends on your budget shipping isnt to bad but as said find out the tax and duties and make sure the cost of shipping is an FOB price.and not cost of the car alone.

A: It sounds a great buy and not that expensive for the car it is,best thing is compare it to other Skyline which are selling where you live, check out ebay and import firms for that.
But for the car it is you can't go wrong with a look after Skyline, and there not a car you will need to change often and it ticks all the boxes with speed looks and room and body styles to keep you going for a long time.
Get on Skylineowners.com before you look at one as there is a buyers guide on there site having maintenance atm else i would have given you the link also it a free forum.
One thing i did notice was you said RB26det against the rb26dett as the GTR came as a twin turbo only and the gts was the non turbo and the gts-t was the single turbo version.
Q: Is the Nissan Skyline Legal?
Is the Nissan Skyline, The orighinal model from 1992-2003 legal to drive in the U.S.? What about MA. Are there any restrictions on the car? Can you register the car with a plate and what not.
There are some skylines on Autotrader. What about that?
A: There are a good amount of Skylines in the US some before Motorex was shut down and some after as Motorex finished testing the spec 2 r33 skylines the data is enough to import those models although mods have to be done to make it street legal and in a time limit as well as work carried out and checked by set people. Each state does differ with mods so find out what needs doing in your state .

Q: I have been askin this question where can i buy a nissan skyline in canada ontario?
the model of the car should be 1992 to 1999 and if you want to sell it tell me if there's a website where they sell a skyline tell me but if you have a skyline and live in mississuaga or brampton or toronto and want to sell it tell me or if there's a canadian import companys that sell skyline tell
A: It might be worth getting the forums out the one i use is
http://www.skylineowners.com/forum/index.php?s=8e86784dba38d004a4aab41939ddc946
i do see owners worldwide and some CA owners they maybe worth asking to whom is safe place to get one from.
Models you can get legally in CA i believe are the R32 and now the spec 1 R33 models due to them reaching the right import age.
I have seen these advertising there in CA.

Q: Is anyone on yahoo answers going to buy my Nissan skyline?
is there anyone on yahoo answers going to buy my Black 1992 R32 Skyline.Seems a good question to me.
If anyone on yahoo answers was going to buy my skyline and wanted more info pics and spec best to mail me.
A: This isnt a website with classified ads
Q: Where can i buy a 1992 to 2000 nissan skyline model car?
In canada between Mississuaga or Brampton in Ontario
A: In Japan.
They are illegal to drive in North America. North America includes the U.S. and Canada.
You can buy one from Japan and import it to America, but you can only drive it on private property like your driveway.
Q: Should I go with this Nissan skyline?
1992 Nissan Skyline GTR and apparently dyno'd at 418hp. I am going to school and I am currently in a 3 year technical mechanics program. So I thought this could be a good project to work on. My previous car was a 2001 Honda Civic which had 302bhp, but I couldn't get it to output any more power then that without spending over 5 grand.
Here is the skyline:

Sorry 430HP and 5500rpm
A: Me love the R32
The R32 is a great car i had one a few years ago and atm drive a spec 2 R33 which is more roomy for my kids etc but me i fell in love with the R32 when it came out and miss owning one.
If you are in Canada then there is no probs as the car is legal over there in fact as iam sure you know it has now reached the spec 1 R33 age to be legal to import.
Where i live the R34 has reached less test age so iam trying to go for a GTT if i can save any pennies up.
The RB26dett engine as you know is bullet proof and it will take power well above 1000bhp although petrol cost etc would be even more scary.
The car itself looks great and has a great spec list and decent parts. With all work been done on the car including belts as our belt change was around £400 with new belts tensioners and water pump.
so make sure of regular service and decent oil changes and only run the car on high octane fuel.is no other reason then power as i can def say with experience i high octane fuel in these cars is like adding nos.
With so many Skylines getting old and crashes etc i would def go for it and enjoy it.
Parts wise there are owners on the Skyline forums from all over the World and breakers of Skyline parts also. Also Nissan still stock R32 parts and the R32 shares many parts with the 180sx and the 240sx s13 models.
